On December 9th there will be a public meeting to discuss the bridge replacement on the Causeway and the the Wildlife Preserve's desire to close Corey's Ditch.

I'm collecting information here in preparation for the meeting.

What I've been able to find out so far is that a portion of the cost is being paid by the Federal Government ($700,000) to stabilize access to Mackay. The work is slate for 2025 and is in the current NCDOT STIP (State Improvement Program).

Postcards from NCDOT will be coming out to notify us of upcoming meeting.
